Disaster guys, Fucking disaster.

I was actually working just now (shocker I know), I was exporting the struggle animation to start setting it up in Godot, and...Already hit the limit, too much sprites they can't fit in one sprite sheet, I didn't think this would bite my in the ass so soon.

Flash only lets you make a sprite sheet of 8k*8k pixels, and that is not enough to fit the 200+ frames I have for this one. Which I knew this size thing would be an issue, but.

Now it's gonna be a pain in the ass because I'll have to divide animations in parts, which then will increase the number of items on the library... I really need to get testing Toon Boom, it's looking more and more I need an out from flash. Also it's gonna drive me crazy, you see her left eye? How it flickers? Right, Flash bug, just decided it wanted to fuck up the export, I can't even begin to think what might cause it.

But anyways, pain aside, everything is setup in godot for the initial struggle animation, which is just the default one, where chibi won't resist or submit, I need to do those next, but this is enough to test the behavior right now. You would think this would be easy, since all it's doing is taking the spot of the knockdown animation, but, things are never that easy.

Yes, its a funny Game an Classical Jump and Run. The Chibi Version are very cute and i hope the game continues. Its an funny Mini Game for in between and the control is simple.

Ok, Adobe is not the best Choise, but actually it runs and i hope it will continue to be programmed.

I just got an e-mail with the title

Disaster guys, Fucking disaster

Best clickbait I've had all year.

Wish you the best of luck with winning this uneven fight against Adobe's software bugs and limits!

Adobe being Adobe.

Just a suggestion that may or may not help... Would it be possible to cut out some frames that look the same or don't change much and then just slow down the animation speed so the animation takes just as long overall? That way they use less space per animation? Is that a thing? Just grabbing for ideas that may help really... Not sure if "games" and "video/ gif" frames are the same thing... You're the pro lol. My knowledge of animation is very limited. It's an idea at least. Just trying to help. Otherwise... I wish you luck in finding a solution. Time to find a way to uncap flash lol. How to hack flash sheets 101? XD I feel your frustration. I'm sure you'll figure something out. You wouldn't have come this far if you weren't a good problem solver after all. Just trying to give you some inspiration is all. I wish you luck.

There's already an option on animate to "stack" frames, so it only uses 1 instance when there are multiple frames that are the same. I've been using that since the beginning, and yet...

Damn man... that really does suck... You may be right then. "Out with the old and in with the new" may be the only way and solution soon...
Sorry, I got nothing more. Learning on a new platform or engine is tedious work in it's own right though...
and just to think, you pretty much just started this game... That's not only frustrating, that's just down right discouraging... I always wondered how some flash artists keep their games so small and compact. Smaller resolutions probably...

Just to think, I was really hoping there was some kind of temporary solution here within... No idea though. Like I said, best of luck. I tried. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help. I hope you find a solution or someone that actually knows flash inside and out will speak up and help you. Other than that,

Don't let discouragement distract you. Learn from the negatives. Find the positives... keep moving forward.

Just keep at it. It'll all work out as long as you don't quit. Who knows... maybe learning on something new could make things even easier and be fun eventually ^_^ Learning can be fun too...
When and if you do... just remember to find that same passion way back when while you started working with flash is all... That's the trick. Best advice I can give. You got this far... and you even pretty much completed a game before. I know you weren't entirely happy with it but I for one actually really enjoyed Space Escape. "If you did it once, you can do it again." In the words of John Greenleaf Whittier "Don't Quit" You got this.
