SpacEscape -Chibi Edition-

A cute chibi catgirl trying to escape a space station full of horny creatures without getting (too much) raped.
The "lore"
In order to create the SpacEscape I really wanted, I'm moving to another game engine from Flash, namely Godot, so I'm making this little thing to learn it so when I get to make the remake of SpacEscape I have a reasonable amount of experience on the engine so development goes smoothly.
KNOWN ISSUES
- Progress door doesn't open when 100% (already fixed, will be ready next build)
- Be careful when navigating tight corridors, you can get stuck if you don't exit them crawling
- Sliding into a wall in a tight corridor will get you stuck
- "R" Reload key is unbound (my bad, next build has the stuck issues fixed so hopefully won't be needed no more)
- If you have trouble moving, try unplugging your controller, or give the left stick a few swirls. This issue is cause by stick drift, I set deadzones for them, but seems it wasn't enough.

when its gonna release the last version?
Ok is my brain or laptop made out of poo? I can not even get past the very start because I cant get through a barrier below me. I have tried everything I can figure in game with keyboard and controler. If i am missing something basic can someone lmk? This seems like a fun lil game and I would love to get to actually play a bit lol.

Besides not being able to get past the one door after reaching 100%. Is there other wolf animations besides the knock down lick and doggystyle position that comes after?
the download requirements say that the hardware has to be compatible with OPENGL ES maybe thats the issue?
when i run it, it always just says ALERT

[Edit]: I am aware that there is no right to get a public build. I just wonder if a new one is planned, since I liked the game and would love to see and play more of it.

what are your pc specs and what version of windows?
First try this: Right-click the executable file of the app and select Properties. Open the Compatibility tab, check Run this program in compatibility mode for, and then use the drop-down menu to select a different Windows version. To save the new settings and try running the app, click Apply > OK.
If that doesn't work, try updating the system in Windows Update.

the amount of people asking for "when is the update" and not reading the devlogs is saddening
true, the game is barely playable on windows 11 in the last public release literally 5 years old since any updates
but this is itch.io, not steam, this site is to make easy for the devs to post small updates and find out how players use their game, such as hardware requirements and small updates that 99% of players will not see
much less a huge content update like in steam, a game in version 1.0 in steam equal to v7.25.017.554893-b in itch.io and a game might be updated years after the last release or seconds after the last update because the devs noticed a typo on a tutorial after uploading that version
so please treat this game and this site a school project you have the semester to make, and not like a business deal that needs to meet an impossible deadline to appeal to the buyers and appease the investor

he's been posted some devlogs every few weeks, that's all I know, of you just see the front page and click off when there's no new release, itch dot io is not a good place to find games, this place is better to find indie game and work-in-progress and other projects

find better games on steam or xbox, here is mostly for indie devs to post work in progress, most games that are completed are moved to steam, if you don't want to acompany the devs into finishing the game, itch io is not the place

can someone tell me how to beat the game? I'm currently in the level after the tutorial level and i already get all the health,upgrades etc etc. and yet I can't pass the locked door at the right end. it already said 100% but it doesn't want to open

Yes, I have finished that, and so far it seems to work at core functionality, but I'm currently testing it out.
okay then. i have a question about the control itself, is the game was supposed to be build on an x box or ps? because the tutorial for the game is a bit confusing if you're using keyboard.
All of the above (It eve detects switch controller). But the thing is I've never in my life played a game with mouse&keyboard, so my configuration of the keys maybe unorthodox; but I will add key customization before long.
